HPE Aruba Instant On 1960 24G 2XGT 2SFP+ Switch

The HPE Aruba Instant On 1960 managed switch represents a powerful solution for business networks, security systems or demanding home use. It offers 24 gigabit ports and 4 high-speed 10GbE SFP+ ports for connecting to servers or backbone networks. Thanks to its 128Gbps switching capacity, it handles even intense data traffic. The switch supports L3 static routing, network segmentation using VLANs and the option of stacking up to four units, which you then manage as a single device.

High performance and flexible connectivity

At the heart of the switch is its 128Gbps switching capacity, which together with its 77Mpps packet throughput ensures smooth, non-blocking data flow even when all ports are under full load. Basic connectivity consists of 24 gigabit ports for connecting computers, printers or access points. For more demanding tasks, such as connecting to servers, network-attached storage (NAS) or the network backbone, four 10GbE SFP+ ports are ready. The metal body is designed for easy installation into a standard 19-inch rack.

Intuitive management and network segmentation

The Aruba Instant On platform makes managing the switch easy and clear. You can perform configuration and monitoring locally via the web interface or remotely through the cloud portal and mobile app. This flexibility simplifies deployment and subsequent network maintenance. Advanced features like static routing and support for up to 256 VLANs let you segment your network efficiently – for example, separating traffic for guests, internal employees and IoT devices – to increase security and overall performance.

Stacking and reliable operation

The switch is stackable up to four units, which behave as a single logical device with common management and a single IP address when connected. This greatly simplifies administration and lets you easily scale the network as your future needs grow. Reliable operation is ensured by features like link aggregation (LACP), which provides redundancy and higher connection throughput. For security camera systems or Wi-Fi APs, you will appreciate the PoE Auto recovery feature, which automatically restarts a connected device if it freezes.
