High-Quality Full HD Image and Efficient Compression
The optical system uses a 1/2.7" 2 Megapixel Progressive CMOS sensor, which, combined with a fixed lens with a 3.6mm focal length, provides a clear image at a resolution of 1920 × 1080 pixels at a frame rate of up to 25/30 frames per second. The wide field of view covers 89° horizontally, 46° vertically, and 108° screen sizely, while efficient H.265 and H.264 video compression significantly reduces storage requirements and network load while maintaining detail quality.
Night Vision for 24/7 Protection
The security system ensures reliable surveillance even in complete darkness thanks to the integrated infrared illuminator, which activates automatically when the ambient light drops. The classic infrared night vision offers an effective range of up to 10m, which is more than enough to cover even larger living rooms, offices, or hallways throughout the night.
Intelligent Detection and Active Deterrence
Advanced artificial intelligence algorithms can accurately recognise the human body, reducing the risk of false alarms caused by pets or changes in light. The Imou Rex security IP camera supports automatic Smart Tracking, a configurable detection area, and in the event of a breach, it activates the built-in siren with a warning spotlight to instantly deter uninvited guests.
Two-Way Audio and Real-Time Communication
The integrated microphone with echo cancellation and the built-in speaker enable full two-way audio. This feature allows you to easily communicate with family members or pets directly through the mobile app, and the system can also detect abnormal sounds, such as a baby crying or glass breaking, and immediately send a notification.
Flexible Storage for Your Recordings
You have several different methods for storing video recordings according to your personal preferences. The device has a slot for a MicroSD card with support for up to 256GB, allows storage on a network NVR recorder, or the use of secure Imou Protect cloud storage with a 30-day free trial.
Connectivity and App
Connection to the outside world is provided by a 2.4GHz wireless Wi-Fi connection with an integrated antenna or a classic RJ-45 Ethernet port with a speed of 100Mbps. The device supports the universal ONVIF network protocol for easy integration into systems from other manufacturers, and complete management, including remote rotation of 355° horizontally and 90° vertically, is done through the Imou App for Android and iOS operating systems.
