Inter-Tech IPC 4U-40240 - Rack 4U
The Inter-Tech IPC 4U-40240 computer case is used for mounting server assemblies into standardised 4U rack cabinets. The steel construction with a depth of 445mm accommodates motherboards with a limited mounting depth, which requires careful selection of components. Users get a variable data storage space that can be configured according to the current infrastructure needs. The solid chassis protects the internal hardware from mechanical damage and also promotes the effective air circulation necessary for continuous operation. The product is suitable for corporate environments where stability and the ability to install a large number of drives are a priority.

Key features of the Inter-Tech IPC 4U-40240 computer case
- Robust chassis made from strong steel
- Internal space holds a large number of hard drives
- Cooling is provided by four pre-installed fans
- Front panel offers USB ports for connecting peripherals
- Modular frames enable the installation of external drives
- The case supports CPU coolers with a limited height
Robust construction and modularity
The chassis is made of 1.0 to 1.2mm thick steel plates, which give the entire assembly the necessary rigidity and durability. The internal space uses a modular system, where you can remove the mounting frames on both sides to make room for other external drives. This flexibility allows for the installation of up to eleven hard drives, depending on the chosen configuration of other components.
Effective cooling and connectivity
Airflow is handled by four pre-installed fans, which include two 120mm fans at the front and two 80mm fans at the back. This setup effectively dissipates heat from sensitive electronic components and maintains stable system operation even under heavy load. The front panel includes two USB 3.0 ports for quick connection of peripherals and controls with LED status indicators.
Easy access and compatibility
The top cover uses practical latch closures that speed up access to the interior space by simply releasing them. The case accommodates motherboards with a limited mounting depth and graphics cards up to 208mm long. The internal layout facilitates cable management and subsequent maintenance of the entire server solution.
