When Shane returned the barrels again, Dava thought he might try to turn it around now. He had whiskey matured in barrels that until recently had beer. Taste

The taste is based in many ways on traditional Jameson whiskey. But where the classic is soft, floral and slightly fruity, there is Caskmates Stout Edition more caramel, marzipan and cocoa. And of course hops. After beer. Interestingly. And very good.
