JBL BassPro Lite

JBL BassPro Lite is an active subwoofer designed for installation in tight spaces in your car, such as under a seat. With 100W RMS of power and a 178mm driver, it adds the necessary depth to your sound without taking up much space. Its enclosure is made of die-cast aluminium, which ensures mechanical strength and also helps to dissipate heat. Thanks to its support for both low-level and high-level inputs, it is compatible with most car audio systems.

Compact design and durable construction

The JBL BassPro Lite subwoofer is designed with minimal space requirements in mind. Its compact dimensions allow for installation in places where conventional subwoofers won't fit, typically under the driver's or passenger's seat. The enclosure is made using die-cast aluminium technology. This process ensures high mechanical strength while maintaining a low weight and also contributes to efficient heat dissipation from the built-in Class-D amplifier.

Flexible sound tuning and connectivity

To customise the sound to your preferences and vehicle's acoustics, the subwoofer offers several adjustment options. You can smoothly regulate the crossover cut-off frequency from 50Hz to 150Hz with a slope of 12dB per octave. To further enhance low frequencies, the bass boost function provides up to 12dB of gain at 50Hz. Wide compatibility with both factory and aftermarket car stereos is ensured by support for both low-level (0.18–5.0V) and high-level (0.75–20V) inputs.

Low consumption and reliable operation

The Class-D amplifier operates not only powerfully but also efficiently. With an idle current draw of under 600mA and a maximum draw of 15A, the subwoofer places minimal strain on the vehicle's electrical system. To ensure long-term reliability, the device is equipped with protective circuits. Integrated high-pass filters and limiters protect the driver and amplifier from damage when operating at the edge of their performance limits.
