L-Mesitran Soft gel is intended for the treatment of common abrasions, cuts, burns, blisters, herpes, acne, insect bites and the like. Contains 40% medical honey.
L-Mesitran is an innovative product line that is based on the content of medical honey. L-Mesitran Soft gel is intended for the treatment of wounds, tibial ulcers, bedsores and burns. It can be used for a wide range of indications at all stages of wound healing. It should not be missing in any home medicine cabinet, when you use it to treat common abrasions, cuts, burns, blisters, herpes, acne, insect bites and the like. L-Mesitran Soft contains 40% honey. It is easy to apply, does not cause pain and does not stick to the wound.
Medical honey
It has antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory effects, helps clean the wound, maintains a moist environment and promotes healing and odor reduction.
Medilane (medical lanolin)
It restores the skin barrier and accelerates the skin healing process.
Vitamin C
Contributes to the formation of collagen and connective tissue, promotes the strength of the healing wound.
Vitamin E
It helps skin regeneration and reduces the risk of unwanted scarring.
Polyethylene glycol (PEG)
Pharmaceutically used, safe and inert ingredient with low toxicity.
Clean the wound. Apply L-Mesitran Soft Gel in a thin layer either directly to the wound site and surrounding tissue or on sterile gauze. Cover and fix with a suitable secondary dressing, depending on the amount of fluid flowing from the wound. Check the condition of the wound regularly. Reapply the product once it has been absorbed (± every 24-48 hours).
Do not use in patients who are sensitive to the product or any of its ingredients. In case of intolerance to L-Mesitran or any of its ingredients, remove it using a suitable technique and clean the site thoroughly.
