Levopront oral syrup 120 ml
Levopront syrup contains the medicinal substance levodropropisin, which effectively relieves dry irritating cough without mucus formation. The drug acts directly in the respiratory tract, and does not cause dependence. It does not suppress the natural cleansing of the airways. Levopront syrup has a pleasant cherry flavour and is also alcohol-free. The syrup form is especially suitable for children from 2 years and adults.

Dosage and method of use Levopront
Always take this medicine exactly as directed in the package insert or by your doctor or pharmacist. If you are unsure, consult your doctor or pharmacist.
Adults and children over 12 years of age: 10 ml (equivalent to 60 mg of levodropropisin) 3 times a day with an interval between doses of at least 6 hours.
Children older than 2 years: 10 - 20 kg body weight - 3 ml syrup 3 times a day with an interval between doses of at least 6 hours, 20 - 30 kg body weight - 5 ml syrup 3 times a day with an interval between doses of at least 6 hours.
When opening the bottle, press firmly on the cap while turning it counterclockwise. Levopront syrup can be diluted with half a glass of water. Take the product between meals with sufficient water.
Clinical studies have shown no interaction (interactions) with drugs used to treat respiratory diseases e.g. antibiotics, corticosteroids, antihistamines, etc. Increased caution should be exercised when sedatives (tranquilizers) are used concurrently by particularly sensitive individuals, for possible amplification of the sedative effect. Do not take the medicine for more than 14 days without consulting your doctor.
Ingredients
The active substance is levodropropisin. One ml of syrup contains levodropropisin 6 mg. Other excipients are: sucrose, methylparaben, propylparaben, citric acid, sodium hydroxide, cherry aroma, purified water.
No alcohol.
Contraindications
Levopront contains levodropropisin. A medicine for internal use. Read the package leaflet carefully. Do not administer to children under 2 years of age. Do not take the product in case of allergy to levodropropizin or to any other component of the product, in case of productive cough, in case of impaired mucous membrane function, in case of severe liver disorders, during pregnancy and lactation. If your doctor has told you that you are intolerant to certain sugars, consult your doctor before taking this medicine. The preparation contains 4 g of sucrose in one 10 ml dose. This must be taken into account in patients with diabetes.
Storage
Keep this product out of sight and reach of children. Do not use this product after the expiry date stated on the box and bottle.
