The special compartment uses the innovative HydroBreeze technology, which creates a protective film on fruit and vegetables with a fine cooling mist. Combined with an ideal temperature of just above 0°C and high humidity, it provides the perfect conditions for storing unpackaged foods to retain their freshness and nutritional value.
Professional freshness care with HydroBreeze
Do you want to keep your fruit and vegetables in your Liebherr fridge as fresh as the professionals? The HydroBreeze function in the vegetable compartment delivers a gentle cold mist, which refreshes the food and forms a protective film on it. Combined with a temperature just above 0 °C, your food will retain its freshness and shelf life for much longer - and at the same time delight the eye with a spectacular mist! HydroBreeze automatically activates every 90 minutes for 4 seconds, or when the fridge door is opened for 8 seconds.
Two independently adjustable Duocooling circuits
The Liebherr CBNbsc 778i includes two independently adjustable Duocooling circuits, so you can easily set the temperature separately for the refrigerator and freezer compartments. The duocooling function also ensures that there is no air exchange and no odor penetration between these parts. This effectively prevents food from drying out due to contact with dry, icy air from the freezer. Food retains its freshness, texture and original taste in the Liebherr refrigerator.

The No Frost system can keep food fresher for longer and full of vitamins at the same time.
SuperFrost freezes fresh food while preserving the most vitamins
The Liebherr CBNbsc 778i fridge is equipped with a special SuperFrost function that can freeze fresh food to preserve as much of its vitamins, taste and appearance as possible. In other words, the fresher you put your food in the freezer, the more vitamins it is able to retain. That is why fresh fish are shock frozen immediately after being caught on the high seas. But you can also take advantage of this unique feature in the comfort of your own home with SuperFrost. It lowers the temperature in the freezer down to -32°C to ensure a sufficiently cold environment and thus very fast freezing. In addition, SuperFrost then automatically switches to normal mode to reduce electricity consumption.
