LIEBHERR CFd 2085 with SmartFrost technology
Liebherr's SmartFrost technology radically reduces the build-up of frost in the freezer interior and on the frozen food itself. This minimises the need for defrosting. The foamed-in evaporator coils around the freezer's interior, enabling very fast heat exchange with extremely low energy consumption. The inner walls of the LIEBHERR CFd 2085 freezer are very smooth, making them easy to clean.
StopFrost technology reduces frost build-up
StopFrost technology is excellent at preventing and significantly reducing frost build-up inside the LIEBHERR CFd 2085 chest freezer by quickly capturing and removing moisture from the air. Thanks to the StopFrost system, defrosting is needed much less often. When the chest freezer is opened, warm air can enter. The StopFrost system prevents a vacuum from forming inside the appliance when the lid is subsequently closed, so the freezer lid can be reopened immediately and effortlessly.
Automatic SuperFrost
Using the automatic SuperFrost function results in highly efficient and energy-saving freezing. At -32°C, heat is quickly removed from newly added food, rapidly lowering its temperature and significantly reducing the water crystallisation effect inside the food. Once the freezing process is complete, or after a maximum of 65 hours of operation, the SuperFrost function is automatically switched off. The freezing process with SuperFrost preserves the maximum amount of nutrients in the stored food.
