Life Extension Mega Green Tea Extract EU
Green tea (Camellia sinensis) is one of the most widely cultivated and consumed botanicals—its use has been documented in China for thousands of years and in Japan for over a millennium. Drinking green tea is part of daily life as well as cultural rituals (Shennong in Chinese tradition, Chado in Japan). In modern nutritional research, green tea is one of the most frequently studied botanicals. The main substances in green tea leaves are catechins—a group of polyphenols, of which EGCG (epigallocatechin gallate) is the most abundant. Unlike black tea, green tea is unfermented, so its catechin content is fully preserved.
Who is Mega Green Tea Extract suitable for?
- For those interested in botanical substances with a long cultural tradition in a modern, concentrated form
- For those who want the catechins of green tea without additional caffeine intake—for example, due to sensitivity, evening use, or in combination with coffee or tea
- For vegans and those avoiding gluten or GMOs
- For anyone looking for a simple, daily form of green tea extract in a capsule
