The helmet's shell is made from carbon-Kevlar, which ensures puncture resistance. It is produced in three different shell sizes for a better fit. Inside, there is a multi-density EPS liner designed for effective energy absorption during impact. In the event of an accident, the Emergency Release System allows first responders to quickly and easily remove the cheek pads without taking off the helmet. A reinforced chin strap with a metal plate further enhances safety.

The LS2 MX701 helmet is equipped with a clear visor made of highly durable polycarbonate, which provides an optically correct, distortion-free view.
