Magnerot 500 mg 100 tablets
The product is indicated for the treatment of muscle and heart disorders caused by magnesium deficiency, such as muscle cramps, tetany (muscle twitching) or angina pectoris. It is also used when magnesium deficiency occurs as a result of unilateral nutrition or the use of various drugs (hormonal contraceptives, diuretics or laxatives), alcoholism or insufficient compensation for excessive magnesium consumption (during lactation or in stressful situations). The preparation is also used in pregnancy (risk of premature birth, pre-eclampsia), in certain heart rhythm disorders, especially those caused by an overdose of digitalis glycosides, and in arteriosclerosis. It is also used for protective treatment against heart attacks and heart muscle necrosis, arteritis (inflammation of the arteries) and angina (chest pain). The package contains 100 tablets.
Dosage and method of use
Always use Magnerot 500 mg exactly as directed in this package insert. If you are unsure, consult your doctor or pharmacist.
The dosage is individual according to the severity of magnesium deficiency, if any. needs. Unless otherwise directed by a physician, the initial dose is 2 tablets 3 times daily for one week, then 1 to 2 tablets 1 to 2 times daily thereafter.
Children from 6 years old:
They take Magnerot at a dosage of 1 tablet 3 times a day. The tablets are taken with a small amount of liquid.
The duration of treatment is a minimum of 6 weeks. Magnerot can also be used on a long-term basis. Always consult your doctor about taking Magnerot for longer than 6 weeks.
Contraindications
Do not take this medicine if you are allergic to magnesium orotate or any other ingredient in this medicine. The product must not be used in conditions with high magnesium levels in the blood, or. with symptoms of overdose, muscle weakness, and myasthenia gravis. It is not advisable to take it at the same time as barbiturates, drugs that depress central nervous activity, or sleeping pills.
