Green tea with unique properties
Long Jing tea comes from the southeast coast of China, specifically from the very mountainous province of Zhejiang. Helps to concentrate, induces feelings of calm and pleasant energy, even though IIt has a low to medium caffeine content. Green tea is not only a delicious drink, but it also has a number of positive effects on our health. It is rich in antioxidants, which help protect cells from damage and slow down the aging process. It also supports the immune system, improves digestion and can contribute to weight loss.
The medium degree of oxidation during roasting ensures a delicious taste of the tea
Long Jing tea is nicknamed the tea of emperors. You can sometimes find it under the name Dragon Well for its characteristic leaf shape resembling a dragon scale. Thanks to pan-frying the leaves, it has achieved a medium degree of oxidation, which gives it a unique flavor and character . Roasting stops the oxidation process. Temperature also develops the aromas in the tea, reduces its bitterness, and affects the colour.
Preparation and storage of tea
Pour 2 teaspoons into 250 ml of water at a temperature of 80 °C and steep for about 3 minutes. We do not recommend brewing this tea with water below 70°C - higher temperatures help to fully develop the tea' s flavor profile without making it bitter. You can pour the tea 3 more times after drinking (or as long as you still like it). Make it in the morning for breakfast to increase concentration, but also before exercise and other physical activity. Due to the caffeine content, we do not recommend drinking the tea in the evening so that you do not have trouble falling asleep.
How to store Abuamo loose tea?
Keep loose tea in the packaging in which you received it. These are coated with a special ALU layer that preserves the aroma inside the bag and blocks ambient light. The packaging is also resealable. If you do want to repackage it, store it in an airtight container where it is dark and cool - perhaps in the pantry.
