Perfect balance and depth. Islay is a small island off the west coast of Scotland. Whiskies from this island are prized as the most interesting and natural, and Ardbeg 10 Year Old is the most complex of them all. Ardbeg 10 is a seductive combination of smoke and earthy notes with toffee and espresso, a distinct medicinal and phenolic aroma, and fresh citrus with botanical hints of white wine. It also reveals melon, pear, and echoes of the sea, iodine, and smoked fish. Connoisseurs describe Ardbeg 10 as “whisky as it should be”. The subtle earthy essence combines with a touch of sea salt to accentuate an exceptionally pleasant sweetness.
