The water is extracted from its own wells and treated in a specialised water centre, where it is discharged back into nature after purification - into the Rhine River. The energy and heat produced during the manufacturing process is also used to run the office building and the manufacturer's headquarters, which received the highest LEED Platinum green building certification in 2012.
