It meets the strict European R129 standards and has been subjected to crash tests at the TASS International centre in the Netherlands. Tests have confirmed that the seat provides 23% more head protection, with a 28% increase in speed over the current standards. Allows for both forward and reverse mounting. It is installed with Isofix and Top Tether. The car seat has internal 5-point seat belts that can be hidden in the storage compartment when not in use and an EasyTurn swivel base. This ensures easy placement and removal of the child. The base can be turned towards the door for easy access.

The Lionelo Bastiaan Rwf i-size car seat allows children up to 105 cm to be transported rear-facing, which further increases safety. The anti-rotation frame provides more legroom in the rearward-facing position.
