The Simplehuman Dual Sensor is a touch-free recycling bin that features voice control. The inner space with a total capacity of 58 litres is divided into two sections: a 34-litre section for general waste and a removable 24-litre plastic container with a metal handle for recycling paper, plastics, or glass. The bin can be opened using voice control or by waving your hand over the smart motion sensor. The bin's surface is treated with an invisible nano-silver particle coating, which limits the spread of microorganisms and is fingerprint-proof. This finish ensures easy cleaning and maintenance. The Simplehuman Dual Sensor bin can be powered by the included mains adapter or by six AA batteries. The package includes a mains adapter, a pack of replacement liners, and a user manual.

The Simplehuman bin offers both voice and motion control
The Simplehuman Dual Sensor bin responds to three voice commands, which are picked up by three microphones arranged to work even in busier environments. The lid opens when you say "open can"; the command "stay open" will keep the bin open until you say "close can". If the bin does not receive a command to close, it will automatically close after ten minutes. In addition to voice control, the bin can be opened by waving your hand over the infrared sensor. The sensor scans the area above and in front of the bin to prevent it from opening accidentally when you just walk past.
Integrated liner pocket
The smooth opening and closing of the Simplehuman Dual Sensor bin is ensured by a very quiet motor, making the lid's movement completely unobtrusive. The bin is equipped with an integrated pocket where you can insert a whole replacement pack of Simplehuman bin liners. The liners can then be easily dispensed from inside the bin. The securing frame holds the liners perfectly in place.
