Agnes Obel: Aventine
LP Record With "Aventine", the Berlin-based Dane releases her eagerly awaited second album. "Aventine" follows her successful debut, "Philharmonics", which has sold over 450000 copies in Europe since its release in 2010. The album achieved platinum status in France and Belgium and went 5× platinum in Denmark, where Agnes Obel also won five Danish Music Awards (the Danish Grammys) in 2011. Originally from Copenhagen, Agnes Obel has lived in Berlin since 2006. She recorded "Aventine" in the spring of 2013 at her Berlin studio, Chalk Wood Studios. Just as with "Philharmonics", she wrote, arranged, and produced the songs on the new album herself.
