An Invention for Destruction

Will the pirates manage to obtain an explosive from the mad professor that could destroy the world? It is the end of the 19th century. We find the main protagonist, French professor Thomas Roch, inventor of an extraordinarily destructive explosive substance, at the moment he is kidnapped by submarine from an American mental asylum where he is recovering after a complete breakdown. At a subterranean base located on the island of Back Cup in Bermuda, his kidnapper Count d'Artigas (in reality the feared pirate Ker Karraje) lets him continue his work on the invention. The professor has no idea that this man wants to use him to dominate the world. However, his carer Simon Hart, the narrator of the story, manages to send a letter in a keg through an underwater passage, describing where he and Roch are located and the danger threatening the world. The final battle with a fleet of cruisers from the international community is brewing. A 2026 Czech Radio recording.
