Andršt Luboš & Energit: Time' s Arrow (2017) - CD

A new bluesrock album with an extremely interesting history!

Guitarist Luboš Andršt returned to the repertoire after several decades, which was to form the content of his group Energit' s debut album in 1973. But he did not create, because Supraphon did not give the team with Ivan Khunt, Vladimír Padrůněk and Jaroslav Erno Šedivý at that time.

As a great memory - and also as a tribute to the prematurely sent bass player Padrůňek - current versions of the songs were recorded, preserving the musical spirit of the time. Besides Luboš Andršt, you will hear Jan Holeček (vocals, Hammond organ), Vladimír Kulhánek (bass guitar) and Jiří Zelenka (drums), and violinist Jan Hrubý is a guest in one recording.

It is an essential listening for witnesses, but also a welcome school for young people interested in a demonstration of the best that our rock has to offer. It' s “vintage“ listening: the input elements are historic, the result is attractively contemporary. World titles, but undoubtedly the Czech offshoot of the bluesrock scene in the early 1970s. Khunt' s and Šedivý' s emigration and Padrůňek' s death did not give him a chance to film it in their youth, today' s reconstruction is a tribute to those people and music.

The booklet offers an extensive interview with Luboš Andršt and a set of archival and new shots by Alan Pajer, who photographed Energit from the very beginning. The circle has closed: Let yourself be hit by the “Arrow of Time“. Energit 1973/2017: Bluesrock full of memories!
