Writer, editor, translator, born in 1960 in Karviná. From 1978 to 1982 she graduated from the Faculty of Philosophy at Charles University in Prague, majoring in theatre and film studies. After school she published theatre reviews, worked briefly at Czechoslovak Television and then as an editor at Panorama publishing house, from where she went on maternity leave.
In 1992 she published her first book On the Scales of Life. He writes and translates for a living.
Martha Issová is a Czech actress, daughter of actress Lenka Termerová and film director Morice Issa. She started acting at the Theatre Na Fidlovačce in Prague. Czech TV viewers know her from the TV series Hop or Trop or Dobrá čtvrt'. She made her film debut in 1999 in Karel Kachyna's film Hanele, since then she has starred in several other films, including Alice Nellis' 2007 film Secrets.
