This time, you find yourself on the side of the aliens, and your task is to defend against the attacking humans. The game belongs to the tower defence genre, where passively building towers is not enough. You'll need to actively decide on their upgrades and use special abilities to repel enemy waves. The title combines action and real-time strategy genres and is designed for a single player.

The gameplay is built on the foundations of tower defence but adds active elements that demand your constant attention. Merely placing towers won't lead to victory. Success is determined by the correct timing and use of special functions that you can assign to your towers. Each tower has new functions like Repair or Rage, which will give you a tactical advantage in battle. You'll need to strategically plan not only the construction but also the management and support of your defensive structures in real time.
Upgrade Your Arsenal and Progress Through the Game
Progressing through the game is linked to gradually upgrading your arsenal. The game offers a sophisticated technology tree where you choose which attributes and upgrades to focus on. This allows you to tailor your defence strategy to your playstyle. You have eight different types of towers at your disposal, each of which can be further specialised. You will test your skills across 24 levels that will take you to diverse battlefields, from space stations to uncharted territories.
Hardware Requirements and Language Support
The game is supplied as an electronic licence for the Steam platform. To run it, you need a computer with Windows XP SP3 or newer, an Intel Core 2 Duo 2.4GHz processor, 2GB of RAM, and an NVIDIA GeForce 9600 GS or ATI Radeon HD4000 graphics card. For a smooth experience, an Intel Core 2 Quad 2.7GHz processor, 4GB of RAM, and an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 260 graphics card are recommended. The game includes English voice acting and text localisation in English, German, Spanish, French, Polish, and Russian.
The purchased product key must be activated in Steam:
1) Go to https://store.steampowered.com/ and click on the green button that says "Install Steam".
2) Install and run the Steam client and log in with your existing account or create a new one.
3) Click "Add Game" at the bottom left corner of the screen and then select "Activate a Product on Steam"
4) The "Product Activation" window will pop up. Follow the onscreen instructions and enter your purchased code.
5) Once the activation is complete, you can find the new game in your "Library" tab.
6) Press the blue "Install" button to install the game.
