Arma 2: British Armed Forces fighting a large-scale insurgency

In the summer of 2012, shortly after the successful Operation Arrowhead that toppled the Takistani military regime, NATO coalition forces face a new threat, a large-scale insurgency by local guerrillas. The rebels, battle-hardened and determined to regain control of the country, launched a series of violent attacks on coalition forces and civilian targets. Mechanised units of the British Army, reinforced by elements of the US Army's TF Knight unit, prepare for a major counter-insurgency operation. This conflict is not just a struggle for military superiority, but also for the long-term stability of the region and the future of the coalition presence in Takistan, which is at a crossroads.

Vehicles and weapons with desert and forest camouflage

ARMA II: British Armed Forces PC introduces a range of new vehicles and weapons used by modern British troops in a variety of terrains, from deserts to forests. Personal weapons include the L85A2 and L86A2 rifles, the L110A1 machine gun, LRR and AW50 sniper rifles, and the N-LAW AT launcher. There are also new vehicles such as the off-road Jackal 2 WMIK and the upgraded FV510 Warrior, along with the AH11 Wildcat and HC3 Merlin helicopters. British versions of the vehicles also include an all-terrain vehicle, a Chinook transport helicopter and an AH-64 Apache attack helicopter, all equipped with desert and forest coatings.
