Beck Jeff, Depp Johnny: 18 - CD

The legendary guitarist and the Hollywood vampire recorded an album of various cover versions together. They have covered records by The Beach Boys, John Lennon, Killing Joke and the Velvet Underground. And they added two original songs composed by Johnny Depp.

English rock guitarist Jeff Beck was once in the Yardbirds, the band in which he replaced Eric Clapton and where he briefly met another phenomenal guitarist, Jimmy Page (Led Zeppelin). Beck is considered one of the most skilled guitar players, having played with Mick Jagger, Tina Turner, Kate Bush, ZZ Top, Roger Waters and Brian May. He has won numerous awards including several Grammys. Johnny Depp is, of course, best known as an actor who has originated many distinctive roles, whether it's pirate Jack Sparrow or agent and mobster Donnie Brasco. The famous actor began his musical experiments as a teenager, when he played guitar in the band The Kids. Later, he worked with the supergroup Hollywood Vampires, where he was accompanied by Alice Cooper and Joe Perry from Aerosmith.
