Bogza LA: Songs - CD

Soprano Anda-Louise Bogza is one of the world' s most renowned singers today. She has performed on many world opera and concert stages. She sang the role of Aida at the Vienna and Berlin State Opera, at the German Opera Berlin, in the New Israel Opera Tel Aviv, at the Leipzig Opera, Tosku, at the Munich State Opera, in Florence at the Maggio Musicale Fiorentino festival (conductor Zubin Mehta), at the Frankfurt Opera, at the Dresden State Opera Semperoper (conductor Fabio Luisi), in Arena di Verona (director Hugo de Ana), at the Teatro dell' Opera in Rome, at the New Israel Opera in Tel Aviv, at the Bordeaux National Opera, National Opera in Bucharest and others. For her new recording, she chose songs by Slavic composers Mikhail Glinka, Fryderyk Chopin, Antonín Dvořák, Petr Ilyich Tchaikovsky and Sergei Rachmaninov. Among the songs on the CD are Antonín Dvořák' s famous Gypsy Melodies. Marcel Javorček and Galina Aleshkevich - piano.
