Moderat: Moderat
LP Record Moderat was formed in 2002 when Sascha Ring (aka Apparat) and Gernot Bronsert and Sebastian Szary (aka Modeselektor) recorded an EP for the BPitch Control label. Creating this record was incredibly exhausting for all three, and at the last minute, they renamed the EP "Auf Kosten der Gesundheit" (which translates to "At the Expense of Health"). When it was time to start working on an album, Moderat suddenly split up. Shortly after, Modeselektor and Apparat both worked on their own full-length albums – Modeselektor's debut "Hello Mom!" and Apparat's collaboration with Ellen Allien, "Orchestra of Bubbles". Each became successful and was followed by two career-defining albums for the respective acts.
Paul Kalkbrenner: Berlin Calling (The Soundtrack)
LP Record Previously only available as a CD/digital album, the soundtrack is now being released on vinyl for the first time to mark its 10th anniversary, presenting this milestone in recent electronic music history in a previously unavailable format. Paul Kalkbrenner's soundtrack album of the same name for the legendary cult film "Berlin Calling" needs little introduction. The film and its soundtrack, including the single "Sky And Sand", catapulted him to the top of the international techno DJ scene and made him famous worldwide as a producer and actor.
