Building joinery

The present publication is an illustrative manual with many details in the field of construction and joinery joints, concerning the design of the door, windows, floors, stairs and wall panelling, but also, for example, display cabinets and shop windows manufactured at the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries. More than 260 drawings detail the solution of traditional methods, but also special constructions such as shutters, blinds or shutters for windows, sliding and folding windows including fittings and other mechanisms. You will also find beam, panel and coffered ceiling constructions. The text is presented in the same form, as it was when it was released, from which we drew (Joinery for the Professional, craft and continuation schools, 2nd revised and expanded edition, 1909). It goes without saying, therefore, that some of the information given here is no longer valid and some practices have been abandoned.
