'Above' is the only studio album they recorded. It was released in March 1995 and features a guest appearance from MARK LANEGAN. MAD SEASON is the English term for the time of year when psilocybin mushrooms are in full bloom, and a term McCready related to "a period of drinking and drug abuse". It is not entirely inappropriate, considering the band formed after McCready and Saunders met in rehab. The album, a mix of melancholic ballads and hard rock, proved to be a gold-certified hit, just missing the top twenty.
