Chernobyl (2DVD) - DVD

The five-part HBO miniseries reconstructs the story of one of the worst man-made disasters in history.

In 1986, a massive explosion shook the Chernobyl nuclear power plant in Ukraine, releasing dangerous radioactive material not only across the Ukrainian, Belarusian, and Russian territories of the then Soviet Union, but also into parts of Scandinavia and Western Europe.

From the first moment of the explosion, the ensuing chaos, and the deaths in the days, weeks, and months that followed, the series Chernobyl juxtaposes stories of bravery and sacrifice with the shocking indifference of a government trying to downplay everything and, above all, absolve itself of blame.
