Daddy - DVD

A film about Zdeněk Svěrák

Dad is a kind and dramatic look at the work and private life of Zdeněk Svěrák and the Oscar-winning family creative tandem that gave birth to the Primary School, Kolja and the Dark Blue World.
The spectator has the opportunity to experience the magic of many decades of belonging, on the basis of which the success of the famous Cimrman theater ensemble is based. A look into childhood reveals unknown reflections of Zdeněk Svěrák' s personal experiences in films based on his screenplays.
An equally important element of the film is the cooperation of the family tandem of father and son, which culminates in the postponed project Returnable Bottles. Zdeněk and Jan Svěrák had to go through a painful creative crisis, perhaps all the more sensitive because it intertwines professional attitudes, opinions and opinions with family ties.
