David Byrne: Love This Giant - Music CD - Main image

Music CD David Byrne and St Vincent (aka Annie Clark) met at a charity event in New York in 2009. Shortly afterwards, the former Talking Heads frontman and the guitar virtuoso – who has played for Sufjan Stevens' touring band and The Polyphonic Spree, among others – collaborated for the first time on a project supporting people with HIV. They enjoyed making music together and decided to "write brass-based music" and "exchange ideas in any form: melodies without lyrics or even songs without finished melodies," as Clark explains.
