Deliver us from evil

A "wine" crime drama from the 1950s

Several years have passed since the end of the Second World War. The initial euphoria has worn off, leaving only the harsh reality that relentlessly tests people's characters. It is no different in the picturesque, vineyard-surrounded South Moravian border village, where the former gendarme Karel Bartoš and the peasants Martin Burian, Vincek and Jarý and their families have come to seek a better life. But their hopes are not so fulfilled, as they imagined, or wine, which comes from their vineyards and in whose company they spend many an evening in the cellar, is not so delicious at first, as they would wish...

In addition, a pest appears - Pavel Kuna, a snitch, a snitch, a drunk, and an incredible and chronic womanizer. So it doesn't take long before he is found dead in the old quarry. Was it an unfortunate coincidence, or did someone help him?
