Earthquake: Earthquake 2 - CD

The album Zemětřesení 2 fully completes the project. It is comprised of the remaining songs that Jiří Schelinger composed and played at concerts before his passing but had never been recorded in studio quality until now and were not included on the first album at the time.
The lineup, featuring the brilliant musicians Miloš Dodo Doležal and Štěpán Smetáček with guests Miloš Doležal Jr. and Mladen Djelmo, has enhanced the tracks with three new songs with lyrics by František Ringo Čech, the long-time lyricist for Schelinger's songs. He himself approached the musicians to set his 40-year-old lyrics to music and bring them to listeners. As a bonus, the album concludes with the ballad 'Ptají se lidé', which was released as a single in the mid-1970s.

The Zemětřesení project was formed in 1992 based on a fan vote. The final lineup consisted of Aleš Brichta, Vlasta Henych, Miloš Dodo Doležal, and Štěpán Smetáček. As a tribute to Jiří Schelinger, they released the album Zemětřesení in 1993, featuring songs that the singer had been preparing for an album which, due to his untimely death, he never finished.
