Eskamotër: Gentle Bloodshed - CD
The second studio album from 2017, entitled Něžné krveprolití (Tender Bloodshed), by the music project Eskamotër & Echo Orchestr, from the author, musician and producer Slávek Hamaďák. The record took almost two years to create and features ten original songs.
Just like the debut album Pohled do ulice (A View into the Street), Eskamotër recorded this new release with the ever-changing line-up of musicians, Echo Orchestr, whose main and permanent pillar is the keyboard player and sound engineer, Tomáš Kahl.
Slávek Hamaďák, alias Eskamotër, comments on the new album: “Compared to the previous record, Pohled do ulice, this new release is significantly different in terms of its music, lyrics and mood. The individual songs have a more concise ‘song-like’ structure, there are fewer improvised passages, and the arrangements are more instrumentally diverse and richer, with the acoustic guitar being joined by an electric guitar, electric bass, trombone and piano.”
