Due to their differing opinions on music, Pavel fakes his brother's “death” in Bohemia and, in turn, falsely reports to America that he and his family have died. However, Petr and his adult son arrive in Czechoslovakia, and after some confusion and complications, the family is suddenly reunited. The difference in the brothers' lifestyles and attitudes is obvious, so it is only a matter of time before they intentionally switch roles and things start to happen.
