Landscape of melted bells
Audiobook Landscape of Molten Bells, by Jan Štifter, read by Jan Št'astný.
TWO CENTURIES OF STORIES. A SHORT STORY MOSAIC OF TURBULENT FAMILY HISTORY.
How far does one family's memory go? In the narrative of seven men, a moving story unfolds, spanning two centuries. A doctor in 1832 prepares for the most important test of his life when a previously unknown epidemic comes to Bohemia. A boy in 1955 searches for what happened in his family at the end of World War II. The youngest generation wants to break away from social conventions and make their own way. The book as a family tree, the words as a bridge between generations. Step on it... and tread carefully.
