Emergency care gives these people the reassurance that if they fall, are injured or find themselves in another crisis situation, they will not be left without help, even in the middle of the night. They will get help, even if it is not enough to press the button in time, because they are also supervised by a special sensor that detects that in? the apartment has not moved for a long time and triggers the alarm itself. About life in LIFE
In LIFE 90, for the 30th year in a row, they have been helping seniors to live fully and contentedly in their home environment for as long as possible. In the center of Prague, they run a community center for seniors and their loved ones. At the Center for Active Aging, seniors learn languages, practice and learn what they enjoy. They can get advice in free counseling centers if they need help to deal with an urgent or long-term unfavorable social situation. A free nationwide Senior Telephone helpline is available to them 24 hours a day. ŽIVOT 90 also provides the Emergency Care service, of which it is the founder, and which was evaluated as the best in the Czech Republic by a professional study in 2017. Thanks to it, seniors can stay at home and safe. To help caregivers, ŽIVOT 90 runs a care service and also a Residential Relief Center.
Guarantor of the organization
Jaroslav Lorman (73´), CEO OF LIFE 90. He was born in Prague. He graduated from the Faculty of Arts (Latin, German) and the Catholic Theological Faculty of Charles University in Prague. He also lectured on theological ethics at KTF UK. He defends the rights of the LGBTI minority. He has been working in ŽIVOT 90 since 2015. He replaced his father in the position of director in 2020.
