Little Black and Nine Women

Humorous, sweet and tragicomic stories in the style of the film Love in Heaven

A charming, witty and irresistibly playful novel, inventively linking the lives of nine women through one little black woman who enters each of their lives and brings a captivating magic to it.

Natalie is a sales clerk at Bloomingdale's department store and her head is full of her ex-boyfriend, a lawyer who got engaged to another woman after a breakup. For twenty years Felicia has secretly loved her boss, who was widowed some time ago and doesn't know how to cope with his loneliness. These and other women - a young model, for example, fresh from a Georgia farm, Hollywood diva, trying to make it on Broadway, or maybe a very successful graduate of a prestigious college, who can't find a job, and so creates a fabulous life of her own on social media - her life magically begins to transform with one dress of the season, the perfect little black, that everyone longs to touch...

"Women's literature at its best! If this book were a dress, it would fit everyone perfectly and flatter every figure."
