DVD Film - The cast: Mel Gibson, Jodie Foster. There's no beaver like a beaver. Walter Black (Mel Gibson) has long been plagued by deep depression. He has tried many ways to overcome his anxiety, but nothing works. His wife Meredith (Jodie Foster) can't cope with the situation and eventually throws Walter out of the house. Walter wanders around the city and - fortified by alcohol - unsuccessfully attempts suicide. During a nighttime alcohol walk, he finds a beaver-headed puppet somewhere in a garbage can. The beaver begins to speak to Walter and becomes his means of communicating with the people around him. Everything starts to turn for the better, but only until the beaver completely consumes Walter's consciousness.
