Black Sabbath: Technical Ecstasy
LP Record Released in 1976, Black Sabbath's album "Technical Ecstasy" was a significant departure from the doom and gloom of their earlier work. While still dark, the album showcased the band's growing interest in synthesisers and other new technologies, resulting in a more progressive sound. Some fans and critics were disappointed by the album's more experimental direction, but others saw it as a sign of the band's willingness to experiment and push the boundaries of heavy metal. Highlights of "Technical Ecstasy" include the title track, "Dirty Women", and "She's Gone".

Axel Rudi Pell: XXX Anniversary Live
LP Record Does anyone still remember 1989? When Axel Rudi Pell launched his solo career on 1 December with the release of his first album, "Wild Obsession", the Berlin Wall had just fallen. That was a small eternity ago. The world has changed, but Axel Rudi Pell has not. For three decades, the guitarist from Bochum and his band have been releasing one quality hard rock album after another, like clockwork. Even the anniversary album, a live recording from the last tour, is being released by the same record label as in 1989; the contract with SPV has lasted longer than most marriages. "We grew up together with SPV, we've been through and mastered the ups and downs," summarises the now 58-year-old. "Never change a winning team" is the secret to his success.

Liquid Tension Experiment: Liquid Tension Experiment 3 Dlx Ltd Clr
LP Record In today's progressive rock scene, it seems like a new supergroup pops up every week. But long before this became the norm, and before musicians regularly played in more than one band, there was Liquid Tension Experiment. In 1997, Mike Portnoy (Transatlantic, Sons of Apollo), John Petrucci (Dream Theater), Jordan Rudess (Dream Theater), and Tony Levin (King Crimson, Peter Gabriel) joined forces to create Liquid Tension Experiment. The quartet released their legendary, self-titled debut album in 1998, followed by the impressive 'LTE2' in 1999. They crafted a dynamic, wild, and inventive sound that remains unparalleled to this day.
Lou Reed: Transformer
LP Record It's well known that comparisons rarely hit the nail on the head, but in the case of Lou Reed, they also reveal the utter uncertainty of those who made them. Is he the Chuck Berry or Sergeant Pepper of the 70s, or did Reed deliberately toy with the image of an overly sensitive Frankenstein, grinding his neuroses and drug trips into horror-like sounds? "Some records are so disgusting," raged Rolling Stone magazine, "that you feel like physically taking revenge on the artists who made them." The album "Transformer", however, is far from an acoustic assault and is storming the charts just a few months after the somewhat unfortunate debut of Lou Reed's underground-heavy first album.
Asphyx: Asphyx Ltd Pic
LP Record Product information Reissue of the third album by the Dutch masters of doom/death metal, Asphyx. Gloomy, dark, intense and merciless, as they have taught us for over 20 years.
