Electric Light Orchestra: Eldorado, A Symphony by the Electric Light Orchestra
LP Record On ELO's fourth album, Lynne made an important innovation. "Eldorado" is the first album for which Jeff Lynne hired an orchestra; on previous albums, Lynne added strings by overdubbing. Lynne hired Louis Clark, a string arranger, and used a full orchestra for the band's recordings. This approach yielded immediate results in the form of the ambitious September 1974 album Eldorado, which boosted the band's worldwide popularity and perfected the approach that would bear fruit in the years to come.

Nailbomb: Point Blank
LP Record Nailbomb was formed in the mid-90s as a side project by Max Cavalera of Sepultura and producer/engineer Alex Newport. "Point Blank" is their only studio album, released in 1994 by Roadrunner Records. The album combines the thrash metal fury of Sepultura with the industrial striptease of Fudge Tunnel, which was a huge hit on the festival scene at the time. The album features almost the entire Sepultura line-up (Andreas Kisser, Igor Cavalera), complemented by Dino Cazares of Fear Factory and Ritchie Bujnowski of Wicked Death. The first track, "Wasting Away", appeared in the 1995 film "To Die For", while "Exploitation" is a cover of the British crust-punk band Doom.

For the new release, the album has been completely remastered by Bernie Grundman from the original analogue tapes.

Mike Oldfield: Tubular Bells II
LP Record With this album, Oldfield followed up his brilliant debut, "Tubular Bells", which has long since made its mark on music history since its release on 25.5.1973. Listening to the new album, the parallels and differences with the original "Tubular Bells" are immediately clear. The structure of the music is partly identical. The "Master of Ceremonies", the "Monster Roar", and the "Western Saloon" at the end are all present once again. The compositions more or less correspond to the 'spirit' of the original in tempo and timbre, but the melodies are completely new. As a result, "Tubular Bells II" feels very familiar on one hand, yet quite different on the other. Any concern that Mike Oldfield had simply created a plagiarism of his own work is impressively dispelled.
