LP Record Singer-songwriter Mike Ness and his three bandmates spent four years working on the album "White Light White Heat White Trash", which was released in 1996. The new LP (unlike its country and rockabilly-oriented predecessor) was heavily influenced by the "first wave of American punk", with idols like the Dead Boys, The Dickies, X, and Johnny Thunders. Incidentally, Social Distortion, who formed in the early 80s in Orange County, Southern California, managed to get none other than Michael Beinhorn (Soundgarden, Red Hot Chili Peppers) to produce "White Light...".
LP Record The term "legend" is thrown around far too loosely these days, with music being perhaps the worst offender. But in Ray Charles, modern music has someone it can proudly call one of culture's true geniuses. Over a career spanning almost sixty years, Charles forged his own path, blending gospel and R&B to create soul music. He later found success in country and rock 'n' roll, proving his versatility and talent. Charles broke down not just musical barriers but racial ones too, living and performing during a difficult time for black men and women in America. This three-part collection features some of Ray Charles's most popular, influential, and ground-breaking recordings.

Notable songs include the lead single "Bad Bad News", which blends upbeat rhythms with an empowering message, and "Beyond", a romantic ballad that reflects on the potential for deep love. LP Record "This is a very important album for the band," says Steve Howe, Yes's longest-serving member, guitarist and producer of "Mirror To The Sky", the band's 23rd studio album. "We maintained the continuity in the approach we established on 'The Quest', but we haven't repeated ourselves. That was the main thing. Much like Yes in the seventies, we're growing and moving forward from one album to the next. In later years, Yes would often get going but then not follow through with the next thing. This album demonstrates that we're growing and building something again."
