LP Record Status Quo have been at the top of the music scene for a long time. With the most hits in the British charts, the most appearances on BBC's Top of the Pops, and a total of 25 top-ten albums, Status Quo are undoubtedly one of the longest-running bands in the UK. The group started out in 1962 as a beat band called The Spectres. Around 1967, they discovered psychedelic rock music and changed the band's name to Traffic, later changing it again to Traffic Jam. That same year, Rick Parfitt joined the band, which led to another name change that has stuck to this day: Status Quo.
LP Record John Mayer's "Room for Squares" is a great album released in 2001. The album contains a superb mix of songs that are both mellow and upbeat. My favourite song on the album is "No Such Thing".
LP Record Kick is the fifth studio album by the Australian rock band INXS, released on 14 September 1987. Produced by Chris Thomas, the album was recorded at Compass Point Studios in the Bahamas. It reached number one in Australia and number six on the US Billboard 200 chart. The album has been certified six times platinum by the RIAA and has sold over 10 million copies worldwide. It spawned four hit singles: "Need You Tonight", "Devil Inside", "Never Tear Us Apart", and "New Sensation".
LP Record The Flower Kings: Back In The World Of Adventures is the debut studio album from the Swedish progressive rock band The Flower Kings, released in 1995. This album marks the beginning of the band's prolific career, showcasing their characteristic symphonic rock style which they would continue to develop over the years. The album is composed of diverse tracks, each offering a unique auditory experience. It includes the epic opener, "World Of Adventures", which sets the tone for the album's grand and exploratory nature. Other tracks like "Atomic Prince / Kaleidoscope" and "Go West Judas" further demonstrate the band's intricate compositions and musical virtuosity.
LP Record Tycho Awake is an album that was released in 2014. It's a great album that features several excellent tracks. The album is a superb mix of electronic and acoustic music and is a great album to listen to when relaxing or working.
LP Record Def Leppard's debut album "On Through the Night" was released in 1980. The album was produced by Robert John "Mutt" Lange, who also produced albums for AC/DC, Foreigner and other rock groups. The album was recorded at Compass Point Studios in the Bahamas. It was a commercial success, reaching number 15 on the Billboard 200 albums chart. The first single from the album, "Hello America", charted at number 38 on the Billboard Hot 100. The second single, "Rock of Ages", reached number five on the Billboard Hot 100. The album was certified platinum by the RIAA. In 1999, the album was reissued as a two-disc set, containing the original ten album tracks and ten bonus tracks.
LP Record Seven years on from the release of their anniversary album "Ash & Ice", The Kills have announced its successor, "God Games", for 2023. Across twelve tracks, Alison Mosshart and Jamie Hince venture into new sonic realms without losing the band's signature urgency. "God Games" focuses on the original call-and-response between Mosshart's captivating vocals and Hince's incisive guitar work. They have expanded The Kills' characteristic sound, choosing to write from new perspectives. For the first time, the duo composed primarily on piano, incorporating innovative electronic and horn textures.
