Opera Trio: Works for oboe trio - CD

The Opera Trio ensemble was formed in 2017 through the joint efforts of colleagues from the Janáček Opera. It loosely continues the previous long-standing collaboration between Slovak pianist and conductor Ondrej Olos and Czech cellist and composer Štěpán Filípek. The first major impetus for the ensemble was the arrangement and performance of František Emmert's Oboe Trio, which saw the aforementioned performers joined by the talented Brno-based oboist Barbora Šteflová.

The CD Emmert-Dlask-Nota-Demoč: works for oboe trio is being released as the culmination of the long-term project “František Emmert and his pupils”, which ran from 2017–2019.
Emmert's former students contributed new compositions to the project: Brno-based composer Vojtěch Dlask (Querelle Trio and Nuit et Solitude), Vienna-based composer Lenka Nota (Agnus dei), and Slovak composer Adrian Demoč (Modré kvety).
