LP Record Queen: Greatest Hits II is a compilation album by the British rock band Queen, released on 2 November 1991. It is the follow-up to the band's first greatest hits album, Queen: Greatest Hits, released in 1981. The album contains seventeen tracks, three of which are new songs recorded by the band in 1991, shortly before the death of singer Freddie Mercury. Queen: Greatest Hits II was a commercial success, reaching number one in the United Kingdom and number two in the United States. It has been certified six-times platinum in the UK and four-times platinum in the US. The album was well-received by music critics, who praised both the new songs and the selection of older tracks.
