Queen: Made In Heaven
Music CD Queen: Made in Heaven is an album released by the British rock band Queen in 1995, two years after the death of lead singer Freddie Mercury. The remaining band members completed the album using Mercury's final recordings. It was a commercial success, reaching number one in several countries. The album opens with "It's a Beautiful Day", which Mercury recorded in 1991. The song celebrates life and is one of the more optimistic tracks on the album. The next song, "Made in Heaven", is a more sombre ballad that Mercury wrote shortly before his death. The song is about Mercury coming to terms with his mortality and his hope of being reunited with his loved ones in heaven.
