Settling scores with the devil

There is a devil sitting on my shoulder, and every Monday morning he whispers dirty suggestions in my ear. Suggestions I ignore... because they all concern Ben Tate – my colleague, client-stealer, and rival. Every single Monday he sits opposite me in the meeting with that smug smile of his, embodying everything I hate. I try to avoid him, but when a huge case comes into the firm – one that could make or break both of our careers – I make an exception. It means spending weekends and evenings by his side. It means putting up with his smirks and smart talk, and never giving in. Until the night Ben says, "Please." And the devil on my shoulder decides to make a few demands of his own.
