SPELLING: The Turning Wheel Ltd Clr
LP Record SPELLLING, the project of Bay Area, California artist Chrystia Cabral, is releasing the album "The Turning Wheel", the follow-up to 2019's "Mazy Fly". The new album revolves around themes of human unity, the future, divine love, and the mysterious ups and downs of the carnival we call life. On "The Turning Wheel", SPELLLING takes on the ambitious task of orchestrating and self-producing an album with a 31-piece ensemble of musicians. The result draws inspiration from a wide range of acoustic sounds, taking their work into a new, vibrant dimension. The album is split into two halves, Above and Below. The Above section is dominated by opulent strings and the warm sounds of the banjo and bassoon.
