The Exploited: Punks Not Dead (45th Anniversary Edition)
LP Record "The Exploited: Punks Not Dead" is a seminal punk rock album released in 1981 by the Scottish band The Exploited. The album's title track, "Punks Not Dead", serves as a rallying cry against those who declared the genre was on its way out, making a sharp statement about the punk movement's continued relevance. The album is known for its raw energy, aggressive lyrics, and fast-paced rhythm, which are all characteristics that defined the punk sound of the early 1980s. Tracks like "Cop Cars", "Army Life", and "Dogs of War" deliver an unfiltered critique of social and political issues, resonating with the disaffected youth of the time. "Sex and Violence" is another standout track that became an anthem for the punk community.
