The Gravedigger and the Girl
A criminal case from old Vienna
Vienna in 1894. Inspector Leopold von Herzfeldt is investigating a curious case. The corpse of a famous professor was found in the art history museum - embalmed exactly according to ancient Egyptian classical procedures. Has the professor fallen victim to an ancient curse? Leopold seeks advice from Augustin Rothmayer. Who else should be a greater expert on the affairs of the dead than a rather curmudgeonly undertaker?
Oliver Pötzsch
